AltStore seems to have become compliant. Will it become mainstream in the future?

I am not sure about this since I am not a developer and don't have access to the codebase, but Altstore has never supported privilege escalation to root, although some jank JIT magic might be possible if the developer implements it. Without a way to obtain root, the custom NFCD daemon can't directly make calls to the NFC chip. There is likely no chance of this getting implemented.
