I'd write a PR myself, but I can't quite get the MS build tools and stuff working to where I can actually start fiddling with code. Between the code for the original DCS-Bios, the Skunkworks DCS-Bios & Flightpanels work, and FreePIE, humanity seems to be tantalizingly close to being able to have a scriptable interface to the infamously incompatible-with-everything Logitech Panels.

DCS-Bios seems to have got them working in an open-source friendly way. FreePIE has a great model for scripting and gluing together input and output devices. I just don't quite have the Visual Studio / MS Build / CMake chops to pull off a successful "smooshing together" of the magic from one into the other.

If I can figure out why the MS stuff is so utterly alien for me, I'll be willing and able to help. For now, though, I'm just putting the idea out there to see whether anyone else bites.

Watch this space to see whether I can wrap my brain around the toolchain. I'll keep trying to get local clones of the relevant repos to build in the meantime.
