What

A customer requested that we add an option for our non-plugin-enabled sites to prevent right-clicking on images, since they can't install plugins or add code to their site.

Reference: 9368072-zd-a8c

Why

To add a security mechanism that prevents other people from copying a customer's work.

How

It could be a setting on an image in the Media Library, or it could be a setting for the entire site. I'm not sure if this is possible or if this is the right place to request it, but am starting here to document the request.

I'm acknowledging this request - but will put it as won't-fix. Blocking browser functionality like right-clicking seems quite opposed to our championing of the open web - so I can't see this being something we would implement.
