Collaboration guidelines

When working on an issue, assign it to yourself. Then, fork the repository and create a new branch (branching out from the dev branch). The names of all the topic branches should start with the ID number of the issue you're working on, followed by an underscore and hyphen-separated short name for the fix. For example:

1_fixed-things

When your fix is ready, open a new pull request. Make sure that you are asking to merge your branch into dev, not master.
