In GEF front-end, give live information about a job's progress

In the Jobs part of the GEF front-end, I see all jobs and their statuses. But only when a job ended (either successfully or with a failure), I can unfold the job row to get to the logs of the job. Would it be possible to have live information on a job's progress? That's be a big help for monitoring a job WHILE it is running!
