This is a very simple thing to do with current VRTK events and since each switch will be different based on your scene I think we have enough as it stands now.
I can see this being useful and could be even a core script (unless it already is by now(?)) since it's generally used in all types of projects like games, archviz, etc. and would be helpful for designers and artists.
Is a switch not just a lever where the state can either be up or down?
I know there are different types of pivoted switches (i think newtonvr has a pivoted on/off switch). I bet you could replicate it with the rotator script though.
