Hi

I am using Ubuntu 12.10 and I have installed grave (a command line Google Drive client).

When I sync using grave, it pulls down my files, but grave neither pulls nor pushes files within "Shared with me".

I am within a Google account share by my company (emails, Google Docs, and Google Drive), and there are shared folders within "Shared with me".

Within "Shared with me", I wish to upload files into "Engineering > QA Test Results" using grave.

It is not clear to me using grave how to perform this action from command line.

Thanks

Jeff in Seattle

The best solution is to use something other than Google Drive. If you're forced to use Google Drive, I'm sorry for your loss.

You can use the following incredibly intuitive method of making folders you have access to...actually accessible to yourself:

  • In a web browser, go to your Google Drive account
  • Click "Shared with me" on the left
  • Check the box next to the (root) folder you want to actually, you know, have access to
  • Click "Add to My Drive" above the list of folders
