Currently using grive and Google docs to share certain aspects of a project. I'm therefore working in one directory and copying the data into the appropriate grive dir.

I then have to cd, grive and cd back - it would be useful for simple scripting to either have a config file which told grive where to sync if it wasn't in a grive dir, or just to accept a working dir on the command line.

I second this request.
Grive will be much more useful if it assumes less, and allows the command line to specify more.
