When using fitting manager i sometimes get the problem that eve says xxx item is not avaible although its already fitted in ship. This mess up questor because he give out an error and pause questor. Maybe he press ok on error window ingame and try again and stop after 3 tries ? Would be better if this error happen.
Error is like this: Not all the items could be fitted.
1x Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

And log is like this

[Arm.LoadSavedFitting] Fitting Manager is ready.
[Arm.LoadSavedFitting] [1] Found Default Fitting [default]
[Arm.LoadFitting] Fitting: Serpentis - currentFit:
[Arm.LoadFitting] Fitting Manager is ready.
[Arm.LoadFitting] Looking for fitting Serpentis
[Arm.LoadFitting] Found fitting [ Serpentis ][10sec]

this is an eve issue not a questor issue. To work around it reliably change your saved fits to not unnecessarily move fittings from one slot to another. or... if you want to pretend you are too lazy to do that buy more fittings so that eve can fit the fitting you are asking it to fit in one step. if fit1 has a shield booster in slot 1 and fit2 has that same shield booster in slot 2 then you need more than one booster to fit that fitting on one step. ... the only other thing we could do would be to load the same fitting twice (and while that may fix the symptom the problem is that your saved fits are wrong). I'll look into it.

Well thanks isee for the answer. Yeah saw that eve is messing things up with this. Really bad work from CCP with this.

before I go to code this can you verify that with your 'broken' saved fittings that if you load the same fitting twice (manually!)... the first time you get the error message, but the 2nd time it fits correctly w/o an error?

Yes the second time you click on fit it fits correctly.

this is an old problem that has been discussed before, ensure you delete and rebuild the fittings if you change fittings on one of you missions. if you manually move the modules around and do not have spares for them, this is a common error. when i change fits, my standard practice is to delete and update, testing fits get a name change so that i have a fallback.
