Bobby causing chunks to not load on server

bobby (5.0.1) has been causing a seemingly arbitrary selection of chunks to not load blocks, entities are still visible within the chunk. when the chunk it entered, all the remaining visible chunks become invisible until the chunk is exited.

when the chunk is entered, my client appears to desync with the server as i am unable to place, destroy or interact with blocks, i also lose the ability to jump.
