"play next" for songs already in the queue

Pain

i have large playlists(2000+ songs), currently when i want to play a song i know will play eventually( 1000+ songs from current position) i need to
1: remove from queue and wait 10s for the app to process it
2: play next and wait another 10s

Suggested solution

don't hide this when the song is in queue and instead make it move the song to next from wherever it currently is

Additional information

maybe see if whatever causes the 10s+ stutters on large playlists can be mitigated, the entire app siezes up until its done processing the new queue
