I've encountered an issue with the global Tap Pagination setting. Specifically, even when the global Tap Pagination is disabled, the edges of the book are still clickable to navigate to previous/next chapters. This behavior seems inconsistent with the expected functionality.
However, when I open a book and disable Tap Pagination via the sidebar's temporary settings, the edges of the book become unclickable as intended. This suggests that the global setting is not being applied correctly, while the sidebar setting works as expected.

What did you expect?
Steps to Reproduce:
Disable Tap Pagination in the global settings.
Open a book and test the edges of the screen.
Expected: Edges should not be clickable due to Tap Pagination being enabled.
Actual: Edges are clickable, and navigation to previous/next chapters occurs.
Open the sidebar settings while the book is open.
Disable Tap Pagination in the sidebar settings.
Expected: Edges should no longer be clickable.
Actual: Edges are no longer clickable, as intended.
Expected Behavior:
The global Tap Pagination setting should override or consistently apply to all books, ensuring that the edges of the screen are not clickable when enabled.
