When installing aftman with the unix executable on my Mac a popup appears saying "[file name] Is unable to be checked for malware" and 2 buttons are there that say to close the application or move it to the trash. I saw it listed on homebrew so I was wondering if that is legit or how to bypass the popup.

Is Aftman on Homebrew?
Unable to install Aftman!
Oct 27, 2024
I figured out that the home-brew thing is something else and that when running it with the terminal when the message appears, hit close, go to settings --> Privacy and Security then scroll down and it will say "aftman" was blocked, hit "Allow". Once you do that and re run it a new open button appears as an option and when you press it it will add a property to the file to say that it is trusted.
