- This should help prevent issues with the thumbnail blocking the media controls from displaying, causing all of the media controls info to get out of sync. - This should also not get in the way of newer versions of Android which handle this gracefully because this setting is enabled by default. If someone is experiencing issues, they can just flip the switch off, but otherwise, everything should just work. Also, I should note that I am adding more locale strings here. I'm trying to avoid this as much as possible until the weblate stuff is setup, but I can't figure this media control issue out. I'm adding the ticket reference here in order to keep track of these locale strings #92.

I seem to have waited too 🕐 long between creating the project in weblate and finishing hooking everything up, so I reached out to them to see if they could open it up for me to either update the project or recreate it. |

I just heard back from support. I am now able to edit the project and finish setting things up for weblate. |

#406 👀 it looks like weblate is able to make PRs for updates now. I still need to update the readme to include the link to the freetube android specific hosted weblate. |

I am locking the weblate until I can figure out whats wrong, but something is misconfigured and its causing a bunch of translations to be contributed which end up being unusable, so to prevent people from wasting even more of their time, I am turning off translations for now until I can figure out how to fix this. Context: Weblate is treating the key as the term and its confusing contributors. This is what upstream's weblate looks like: This is what freetube android weblate looks like: |

@MarmadileManteater you'll need to set en-US as the source string (I imagine this is done in the weblate interface somewhere) This is what your source string language is currently: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/freetubeandroid/translations/en/ In upstreem freetube, we map english to the en-US locale file |

Since some new cordova settings and other translatable text may be added I thought it'd be a good idea to bring up the translation process.
I think it might be a good idea to have a seperate folder for Cordova translations to avoid conflicts with FreeTube and make it easy to create a seperate hosted weblate for the Cordova specific translations
