Features

A lot was packed into this app and it is still starter compatible:

  • ADO.NET Database: Stores all data for a summary
  • Background service: Listens for steps events
  • Xam.PCL.Settings PCL for cross platform settings
  • Android Animation: For initial and continuous animations
  • Share Action Providers
  • Android 4.4+ Features: Transparent System and Navigation Bar, Step Counter/Detector Sensors
  • ART Support

Uses the built in Android step counter sensor found on select Android 4.4+ devices.

Built with Xamarin Starter

Both the Android and iOS versions of My StepCounter were built in C# with Xamarin Starter Edition!
