So currently there is 3 options for the sneaking option: Hlod Toglle and Persistent, but I would like to suggest a 4th option:
Grounded: Make the sneak key act as a toggle on the ground and hold on water of flying state (kinda like controllers on Legacy and Bedrock)

(Sorry been a while), I like this idea, only a few days ago I was annoyed about toggle working in air/water as well. I'll def add this

Can I also suggest something for sprinting?

  • Hold (making it actually hold)
  • Momentum (same behavior than the curent "Hold" option)
  • Moving Toggle (same behavior than the sprint button in the new Bedrock touch controls, a toggle then set to off if we stop moving)
  • Toggle (same behavior than the curent "Toggle" option)

The current system is Hold, Toggle, and Persistent.
Hold - Needs to actually hold it
Toggle - Same as old toggle
Persistent - Continue sprinting until you stop moving

I might be having troubles understanding your list, but I'm not sure what's missing

well I forgot about those option but there is the updated list:

Hold - Needs to actually hold it
Moving Toggle - same behavior than the sprint button in the new Bedrock touch controls, a toggle then set to off if we stop moving, so event if you're moving, you can stop sprinting by pressing the sprint key again (in other word, a real toggle)
Toggle - Same as old toggle
Persistent - Continue sprinting until you stop moving

it's kinda a mix between persistent and toggle
