When game frame rate is low it can take multiple infinite-feeling seconds for the MJ2 menu to expand to allow the user to select something. And it is usually kind of an emergency when I go for the MJ menu. As the menu options are moving targets during this expansion the user has to either wait for the expansion animation to complete, or stab at a moving target with the mouse pointer. Given the animation is definitely a luxury, it should be bypassed when frame rate is low, or maybe even completely disabled via a setting in the MJ settings.
