No scripts or extended.conf

I followed the instructions to add two docker volumes:

Container Path: /custom-services.d
Host Path: /mnt/user/appdata/custom-01/custom-services.d/

Container Path: /custom-cont-init.d
Host Path: /mnt/user/appdata/custom-02/custom-cont-init.d/

And placed script_init.bash in folder: /custom-cont-init.d/

I restarded the container a few times but I am not getting the scripts installed. Also not seeing the extended.conf in the config directory.
After starting the container I see the below 3 lines in the log. Any idea what is the issue?

[custom-init] Files found, executing
[custom-init] scripts_init.bash: executing...
[custom-init] scripts_init.bash: exited 127
