I have searched for existing issues that already suggest this feature.

there are several options for implementing this, codeberg version seems to have the most active dev

just want github pages functionality

serve basic html/js websites from gitea repos

this could probably a different service as well. But also https://github.com/caddyserver/caddy works and then you just need to be able to enable the plugin?
