Is there any chance that hlsearch could be made to work? You get the search hi lighted as you start to type within the / but once you complete the search and press enter there is no longer any highlighting in the code of the search term you've searched for.
I often toggle search directions from / down to ? up by just typing / or ? with no search term which then switches to that search direction with whatever the previous search term was. This doesn't seem to do anything at the moment, just continuing the current search in the current direction.
I've also noticed that using * to put the current word under the cursor into search seemed to not work the same way as it used to, although in trying to test it with the latest build I've just built it seems to be behaving better.
All in all though its great to have Xvim this functional in Xcode 9 so thanks so much!!
Cheers
