I mean, even if a number isn't within my contacts' book.

IMO, whitelist numbers should always be marked with a description. However, you won't be able to add a description in the database. Even if it supports adding descriptions, you won't be able to see them in the dialing popup. That's why there is only a spam database and no whitelist database.

The contacts book is actually a better solution for whitelist numbers. I recommend using a contact group called "temporary" for such numbers, and add a ContactGroup regex rule temporary to allow all members in it, that'll be easier to manage.

Mmm. I use not regular "phone" app by Google. But fossify apps in the fdroid. Even for phone app.

Can I use it for the "temporary" contacts group?

Yes, the contact list isn't dialer specific, it's stored in a separete place, usually managed by the Contacts app.

Too much complex.

A whitelist would allow me to export even these (green) phone numbers in the backup.

While in this manner I have to export a "contacts' group" from the phone app.

In addition a whitelist can manage entries in contacts' book or not, in a manner that I could make "green" (allowed) even those numbers that shouldn't necessarily be present in my contacts' book.

Current management is not easy, not quick, not logical, not integrated. In my humble opinion.

Couldnt there be an option "Create Contact" in the popup?

Actually, the app is not supposed to be used in that way. You don't need to whitelist numbers, just don't block them.
The use case is too unique, and it will complex the UI, and it's already supported by the Contacts app, I'm not going to add it.
But there's still a workaround, you can add them to whitelist regex.

May I ask you how this is done? I'm not sure if I understand well.

In the description name have I to write the name of each whitelisted contact? Or simply I write 'whitelist' within?

The description is optional, it's just a remark that helps you to remember what the number is, you can set it to the contact name or just leave it empty. In the history log, it will show the description rather than the number when it's not empty.
