SSM has a rather woeful ~43% coverage which should be improved. It needs about an extra 250 lines of coverage to reach 80%.

Some ideas:

  • Add a basic test of the sender
  • Pull out broker printing in brokers.py
  • Ensure branch coverage

Bit of an arbitrary target and brokers.py will be going away with #225
