Hello, I am fairly happy to use TreeViewer as a tool of editing and
visualizing my phylogenetic trees. However, I am wondering how to rotate the tree at some nodes in TreeViewer just as Figtree does. I search for all modules but it seems that this function is unavailable in TreeViewer. Could you please tell me if TreeViewer can help me to rotate the tree?

Hi! Does the "Switch children" button (in the selection actions tab) do what you need?

Yes! "Switch children" button does help me and I already know how to rotate the tree, thank you very much for your powerful software!

Besides, I have another question. When one of my colleagues installed TreeViewer (Windows version), the following error message appeared. She choosed the same options as I did, but we still cannot find out the reason why it failed. (Picture1 and picture 2 are the options that she choosed, picture3 shows the error message)

I have seen something similar with someone else; the problem is that you have an issue with your firewall/proxy/VPN that is only allowing your browser to access GitHub, while TreeViewer is blocked.

If you cannot fix the issue with your system, the alternative is to manually download the module file: https://github.com/arklumpus/TreeViewer/raw/main/Modules/modules.tar.gz

And then, use the following command to install all modules:

TreeViewer -I=<C:\path\to\modules.tar.gz>

Note that there must be an equal sign and not a space between the I and the path to the module file.

I hope this works, let me know if you still have any issues!

OK,thanks a lot! I will tell her and let her try again. To tell the truth, I am fairly attracted by TreeViewer because of the flexity and functions. I am looking forward to wait for your update.
