YouTube-Like messing up

In certain cases which I couldn't reproduce it was clicking the Like- and Dislike-Button alternately.
Refreshing helped.
Next time when it occurs I'm gonna track its cause down and fix it by avoiding such situations
or in case if it's quite random and seemingly unpredictable I'm thinking about a mechanism that detects such a messy state and corrects its behaviour and clears up messy results without the user having to do the housekeeping manually.
