Quantifying Knowledge Accumulation in Scientific Psychology (Master's Thesis Psychology, University of Zurich, 2023)

This project aims to make the process of theory development in scientific psychology more transparent. This code offers a pipeline to

1. search for scientific articles based on a theory as search term,
2. fetch according articles as PDF,
3. convert PDFs to XMLs,
4. filter articles according to relevance with regard to a user-defined query,
5. extract abstract and 3 most relevant paragraphs of articles regarding the mentioned query,
6. rate abstract and each of the 3 paragraphs based on user-defined query with the help of GPT4,
7. plot rating.
