I'm not running the "msys/cygwin" enviroment with the intention to create a "msys/cygwin" file, I thought I'd use msys2 ucrt64 enviroment (cross compile from cygwin to windows using mingw) to create a "native" windows executable but maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, since I just read the contents of the file :D, so I'll try your advice.

It's just how this file is named. It works fine with MSYS2, I checked it.
Some registry modifications are needed. |

I did a bare ./configure && make. on msys2 on win11
this is the .bochsrs
