The tools/ directory contains a number of software tools that are used with Thingsquare Mist.

• mspsim/ - the mspsim Java emulator for MSP430 microcontrollers
• sniffer/ - a wireless sniffer program
• udp-broadcast/ - firmware for sending and receiving UDP broadcasts, used for testing wireless network connections
• udp-unicast/ - firmware for sending and receiving UDP unicast, used for testing wireless network connections
