atosl-rs

🦀️atos for linux by rust - A partial replacement for Apple's atos tool for converting addresses within a binary file to symbols.

tested on dwarf and macho

install

  1. install rust via : https://www.rust-lang.org/tools/install
  2. cargo install atosl
# macOS install guide
cargo install atosl
# Ubuntu install guide
sudo apt update
sudo apt install git
sudo apt install curl
sudo apt install build-essential
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs | sh
cargo install atosl

usage

🦀️atos for linux by rust - A partial replacement for Apple's atos tool for converting addresses
within a binary file to symbols.

USAGE:
    atosl [OPTIONS] -o <OBJECT_PATH> -l <LOAD_ADDRESS> [ADDRESSES]...

ARGS:
    <ADDRESSES>...    Addresses need to translate

OPTIONS:
    -l <LOAD_ADDRESS>        Load address of binary image
    -o <OBJECT_PATH>         Symbol file path or binary file path
    -f                       Addresses are file offsets (ignore vmaddr in __TEXT or other executable
                             segment)
    -v                       Enable verbose mode with extra output
    -h, --help               Print help information
    -V, --version            Print version information
