our lessons do not have an accessibility statement, but they should! The W3 Accessibility Initiative has an online generator and we have the following aspects about our current framework:

  • Is navigable and intuitive (look out for a side nav and clear, reimagined information architecture!)
  • Is optimized responsively across all devices
  • Meets AAA accessibility contrast standards
  • Is typographically optimized (readability was paramount!)

At the very least, we can create a statement with these items as the framework and add comments/guidelines for the authors to add their own statements.

In addition, we could provide tools from the link validator to provide information about the images and alternative text.
