What is the copyright / license on this repository? Can I use it with modification and attribution (in an MIT/BSD compliant website)?
My group is adopting this approach for a database of plant and ecosystem data, (and related software), and it would be useful to embed the text regarding variable naming guidelines when users are creating new variable names (as described in this issue. It would also be useful if we could adopt it with domain-specific examples. I see on the llnl generic disclaimer that "permission may be granted", and I am not sure if the UCAR "Terms of Use" is applicable.
