About

The mission of the Alliance of Civic Technologists is to support, grow, and enable a network of local volunteer civic technology organizations to enable more effective and equitable delivery of government and public services to the people who rely on them and to ensure the government utilizes technology in ways that advance and protect human and civil rights.

The Alliance of Civic Technology (ACT) is a solidarity network that connect volunteer civic technology efforts in their local communities through supporting digital service projects and educating stakeholders on technology issues in the public space.
