This app is unusable on Kubuntu 22.04. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't load at all and most often it just freezes and does nothing.

Hey @pryingopen3rdi, thanks for the feedback. We are primarily focused on Windows and Mac but happy to take a look at what might be happening.

You should be able to grab the log file and report back here with it.

on Linux: ~/.config/{app name}/logs/main.log
on macOS: ~/Library/Logs/{app name}/main.log
on Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\{app name}\logs\main.log

This project is also open source so we welcome any contributions that might help for different operating systems like Linux.

Here are a few of the logs, I made the old .bak and ran it again. It didn't crash this time in main.log but it definitely was very slow and responsive, almost unusable. Additionally it couldn't find some checkpoints that I KNOW were in the right folder. It showed pretty much everything on Civitai as not being downloaded and if I clicked 'send to link' they just downloaded again.

Hey @pryingopen3rdi ! Thanks for your patience on this. We just did a big overhaul to how we hash files and watch folders for models. Hoping this helps alleviate a lot of the slow startup issues and getting stuck on initial setup. Your app should automatically update to 1.18.0 but it might be worth reinstalling just so it doesnt try to start the download process in 1.16.1.

Hopefully this update should help us see if its the way we were loading models causing an issue or if this is more Linux specific.

It's not crashing as much but very slow and unresponsive. It will stick on a menu item and then moving between menu's or changing LORA's can sometimes stall for several minutes.
