The same thing is happening to me. It works with Zeal but not with Velocity. I wanted it to work with Velocity because of the user contributed docsets which are missing from Zeal. It simply says it can't find the software when I try to search for something from within Vscode

Error: dash-plugin://query=[something] “can't find application”

System: Win10 1909
Velocity: 1.1.14
Vscode: 1.43.0
Vscode-dash: 2.3.0

I had the same problem. If you had installed zeal and uninstalled it. there will be something left in the reg.
