To address the "facebook::jsi::JSError - undefined is not a function" TypeError in the reactNativeReanimatedCarousel_BaseLayoutTsx4 function, ensure you are using the latest patch version of react-native-reanimated-carousel. The latest patch includes a fix for an app crash when using the "onProgressChange" prop as a function, which might be related to the error you are encountering. Additionally, the patch addresses issues with the parallax layout when the new architecture is enabled, which could help resolve the crash on your iPhone XS Max running iOS 18.2.1 [1][2].
