Research automating slices of cycle data into pre-set intervals

What we're after: IT and the Press Office currently generate manual reports of candidate, committee and financial information for our historical statistical summaries. This is a tedious process and on that is not inherently a Press Office function. We would like to automate this if we can by leveraging the power of our API.

At present the API can not do this job. We would need the ability to "slice" this information into pre-set intervals. The statistical summary tables include both summary and transaction-level data in the following intervals: 6-month, 12-month, 15-month, 18-month, 21-month, 24-month
