Will CO_yield and SOOT_yield in fds change with the type of fire in the room, for example, if I set CO_yield=0.01 and SOOT_yield=0.02, and set up two scenarios, one for a ventilation-controlled fire and one for a fuel-controlled fire, the CO_yield and SOOT_yield of the two scenarios will be the same as those of the fire in the room. Will the CO_yield and SOOT_yield of the two scenarios change? |

If you are using single step chemistry, then there will be no change in the yields. Please consult the User's Guide and Technical Reference Guide for a more detailed discussion of the combustion model and opitons for it. |
