Will CO_yield and SOOT_yield in fds change with the type of fire in the room, for example, if I set CO_yield=0.01 and SOOT_yield=0.02, and set up two scenarios, one for a ventilation-controlled fire and one for a fuel-controlled fire, the CO_yield and SOOT_yield of the two scenarios will be the same as those of the fire in the room. Will the CO_yield and SOOT_yield of the two scenarios change?

If you are using single step chemistry, then there will be no change in the yields. Please consult the User's Guide and Technical Reference Guide for a more detailed discussion of the combustion model and opitons for it.
