What you mentioned does make sense, but it does this raw output even with the
(Re hitting Enter, note that was only to start the read command, can ignore that). Even so - you may be right and it could be shell or env dependent, not a Ghostty problem. :-/ |

If I get Ghostty to read STDIN input (via say
read xyz
and hitting Enter on the CLI), when using the arrow keys, it displays their escape sequences (^[[D
for left arrow,^[[C
for right arrow,^[[A
for up arrow,^[[B
for down arrow) rather than move cursor position or cycle through history.Pretty frustrating. Anyone know what might be wrong?
