ColgCoin Core 0.14.2

Setup

ColgCoin Core is the original ColgCoin client and it builds the backbone of the network. However, it downloads and stores the entire history of ColgCoin transactions (which is currently several GBs); depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more.

To download ColgCoin Core, visit colgcoin.org.

Running

The following are some helpful notes on how to run ColgCoin on your native platform.

Unix

Unpack the files into a directory and run:

  • bin/colgcoin-qt (GUI) or
  • bin/colgcoind (headless)

Windows

Unpack the files into a directory, and then run colgcoin-qt.exe.

OS X

Drag ColgCoin-Core to your applications folder, and then run ColgCoin-Core.
