Reasons

  • You can crash the browser tab by typing a really large number.
  • Its not really practical to need >100 swatches. Much beyond that and they blend seamlessly.
  • It will probably be easier adjusting the number of swatches using a slider than having to type text.
  • On first glance the text box doesn't look like a text box.
  • All the other inputs are sliders, and the texbox is out of place.

Btw great job on making this 😄 its a useful little tool!
