This would give a slightly different view of the current map.
With this idea the map would keep the vertical column of hexes, but allow rotate the layout of the worlds. The current layout has Coreward at the top of the screen.
By Rotating by 60 degrees coreward is toward the upper left or upper right of the screen. Rotating by 120 degrees coreward is toward the lower left or lower right. And rotating by 180 degrees corward is toward the bottom of the screen.
I will note this is canon: the map in Adventure 3: Twilight's Peak does exactly this to present an more interesting subsector sized area for the adventure to take place.
