Switch to supported version of OpenSSL #7

Thanks for so many updates to this important library!

The README notes that We need a specific version of OpenSSL: OpenSSL_1_0_2-stable.
That version is from 2015 and reached End Of Life on 2019-12-31.

So it seems important to upgrade to the newer API.

Thanks @nealmcb for pointing this out, I agree it would be nice (and needed) to update the OpenSSL dependence!
