There is no track and trace app in the UK.
They trialled it in a small community and it failed

Thanks for the comment, and sorry for not reacting earlier. Do you know if this still true? I get news that an app was re-deployed recently, but I'm not sure if it is still the same one...

They have now deployed an officail app using the Google/Apple system - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.nhs.covid19.production

Apparently, their code (or a part of it) is also available as open source software, in https://github.com/nhsx/covid-19-app-android-ag-public (Android app).
