For some reason they don't realize the postcards are non US and are being rejected for having invalid US states. I am working it out with the postcard provider currently.

An update on this one: the likely end-state of this is the initial release won't have international orders and that will be added a few weeks after. The two routes are:

  • Wait for the provider to fix their API bug (ideal)
  • Use a rather hacky work-around I've found that gets around their API's bug (less ideal)
  • Use an entire separate provider for international orders (very unideal).

I am testing a new postcard provider to help with issue #11, and it looks like they do have international shipping working unlike the previous provider. I have sent some test postcards internationally, if they seem to do okay then I will release this to international users.

I think I will still stagger the rollout to have US people get it first but just to ensure the system can handle any sort of day-1 load.

Hi, is there any update on this? I would love to use you package for sending postcards to Europe and other places

Unfortunately not. I haven't found any API provider that can consistently send mail outside of the US. The ones I try just end up having the postcards never arrive. :(
