The MapIcons plugin for Magellan will visualize certain events in the affected regions from the messages in the report.
This is done by a small information at the corresponding region, a so-called tag. This tag is called "regionicon" and has as value the name of a small graphic, which is then displayed in the region. This is an old Magellan feature, which still works in Magellan 2.
With the special names for the files used by this PlugIn, the inserted tags can also be removed, this can be controlled via the PlugIn menu in Magellan.
Das MapIcons Plugin für Magellan wird aus den Nachrichten im Report bestimmte Ereignisse in den betroffenen Regionen visualisieren.
Dies wird über eine kleine Information bei der entsprechenden Region bewerkstelligt, einem sogenannten Tag. Diese Tag nennt sich "regionicon" und hat als Wert den Namen einer kleiner Grafik, die dann in der Region angezeigt wird. Dies ist ein altes Feature von Magellan, welches auch in Magellan 2 noch funktioniert.
Anhand der besonderen Namen für die durch dieses PlugIn verwendeten Dateien können die eingefügten Tags auch wieder entfernt werden, dies kann über das PlugIn-Menu in Magellan gesteuert werden.
