<p>A summing amplifier amplifies the weighted sum of its inputs, outputting an inverted result.</p>
<p>Any number of inputs can be connected via series resistors to the negative input terminal. The ratio of each input's resistor to the feedback resistor determines its weighting. In the example above, the output voltage of the amplifier will be \(V_{out}=-R_{FB}(\frac{V_1}{R_1} + \frac{V_2}{R_2} + \frac{V_3}{R_3})\).</p>
