Some pixels blinking on the board

The first two rows of the board, being the Line/Dest/Min and the upcoming train are flashing with different colors. While I can make out the words and numbers, I do not know why these random colors are flashing in and around the characters.

I've seen the blinking pixels when using a power supply that didn't supply enough current. Do you have a larger one to try? A usb-c that might power a notebook PC would be a good test.

I've also seen this with using a cord not up to snuff. The ones sold by the matrix board website are solid.
