Since hashicorp/nomad#17017, HashiCorp provides an official Docker image for Nomad available at https://hub.docker.com/r/hashicorp/nomad, rendering this repository not very useful.

Unless there's a specific need for https://hub.docker.com/r/multani/nomad/, I will archive this repository in a couple of months, redirecting previous users to HashiCorp's version.

Feel free to comment below if you have a good reason to use multani/nomad instead of hashicorp/nomad!

Hi, please dont, my reason to use multani/nomad instead of hashicorp/nomad:

  1. multani/nomad 's base image support TZ env var to adjust timezone, but hashicorp/nomad not
  2. multani/nomad can run with rootless user nomad ref, but hashicorp/nomad not

@fsdrw08 have you tried to report these issues upstream by any chance?

not yet, regarding to the dockerfile content they write, I just feel that they didnt care much about the quality of nomad run in container, they except user to run nomad in machine, but not container
