Describe the bug
When I try to play a video at normal speed, there is no lag when I pause/start a video. However, often when I bump the video speed up (to about 3- 5x) and try to pause a video, it takes a few seconds for BORIS to actually stop the video (as in, video is playing, I see a behavior and want to pause the video for a second to look at the animal's position, I hit pause, but the video keeps playing for sometimes seconds at a time before it finally pauses). Sometimes, the video never pauses, but instead the program greys out and "not responding" appears at the top left, until I wait a minute or two for BORIS to come back. Restarting my computer or BORIS doesn't help. Now sometimes BORIS works just fine and it never happens! It really is a wonderful program. Then there are other times when as soon as I load up the program and start an observation, it starts lagging as soon as I hit pause. I have no other programs running at the same time, and I get this problem whether I'm using just a laptop or dividing the widgets to two separate monitors plugged in via HDMI hub. Once I start getting lags, it sometimes helps if I restart the program, or go back a minute or two in the video and let it play out again. Has this happened to anyone else?
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Start observation
Increase speed to 5x
Let the video play and after say, 15 seconds, hit pause
BORIS either lags and the video runs for another few seconds before finally pausing, or greys out and shows "not responding" while it tries to load and catch up.
Expected behavior
I expect BORIS to be able to pause/start with minor/little lag, much like playing a video at normal speed.
