End-to-end test flakiness

The playwright tests have sometimes failed. It seems that they run much more slowly in the CI environment than they do locally, so that can hit timeouts that don't otherwise occur, or there can be tests that even fail locally, but debugging every quirk hasn't been a priority. We can track them here.
