This is a good question/issue. Orbit is not designed to be the host that runs scans. I have an update in the works to allow you to scan from any remote or local host that can run Docker. It will use Tailscale for remote host or localhost if you truly want to run the scan from the same system you are running orbit. I want to keep them separate though so if the scan crashes it does not take orbit. This also allows for one instance of orbit to scan many different networks at once. I will keep this issue open until this is in a release version.
If a user wanted to use it without these, is it possible?
Are they required for just setting up the server/UI and scanning remote hosts?
